We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Officer to join our friendly team! This role sits within the Business Development Team and is responsible for delivering our financial wellbeing presentations across the UK, and to work alongside our Marketing Team.

The chosen applicant does not necessarily need prior experience in financial services or policing, however, experience in either would helpful. We’re looking for someone who is forward thinking, a team player and self-motivated.

Both teams are responsible for assisting the Credit Union’s growth strategy by raising awareness of No1 CopperPot across all UK police forces. The Business Development Team are expected to have a physical presence within many police forces and seek further opportunities for brand awareness. We are looking for a confident, friendly, forward-thinking, team player who can support our growth plan. It is very important that a person applying for this role is available to undertake a role where lots of UK travel is required and is adaptable to working outside of the 9-5. However, typical working hours are 8-4pm or 9-5pm when events are not being attended. Job hours can vary depending on which events we would need you to attend and it can involve evenings and some weekends.

A full clean UK driving licence is required, with access to your own car. 

Please note: we are openminded to accepting applications from anywhere in the UK, if you are based far from our UK office (Stockport, Cheadle) then we would consider a remote role for the right candidate. We are also open to discussing part-time opportunities. Please make either of the above clear in your application form if you are looking for a remote or part-time role.
